Hamilton Tool Library and the Community Ramp Building Project

The Hamilton Tool Library opened on January 2nd at 575 King St. East, Hamilton. The library offers thousands of tool rentals and regular free workshops.  Annual memberships start at $40
and there are no rental fees.  There are discounts for students and free rentals for low-income families.  The library offers support for youth, community and employment programs and has a fully-stocked workshop and bike repair area.

An initiative of the library is the Community Ramp Building Project. In partnership with Hamilton Winterfest, from February 14-16 the project will build 250 accessible ramps for local small businesses and low-income homeowners.
