 Fall has officially arrived and all five of our camps are bursting with color. Join us for Fall Family Camp at Camp Courage is Oct. 24-26. Thanks for a special day
The open house to celebrate 50 years of Camp Friendship was an event to remember! The weather was perfect as hundreds of alumni, campers and supporters gathered to share memories of their time here. There were many things to do during the day like boat rides, hay rides, classic camp arts & crafts, a photo booth and more. Guests enjoyed lunch and a short program where they heard from our current President and CEO, Ed Stracke, as well as a long-time camper, Ray, and parent Bernie Friel whose daughter Kim has been coming to camp for 50 years. Guests enjoy True Strides Open House
 The Open House event on Sept. 20, celebrating the opening of True Friends therapeutic riding program was a huge success! We were proud to announce the new Dudley Equine Center and Sanner Arena to a crowd of about 200 people.
Guests enjoyed tours of the new facility, hay rides, games, prizes and therapy horse demonstrations to showcase what an amazing program True Strides is.
"Oh my goodness, Saturday was a day to never forget. It did my heart good to be there - and to actually see a demo of the therapy horses in action - a picture is worth a thousand words. It is so important to actually BE at camp and see all the great work being done! To see the young girls riding the therapy horses - and the joy on their faces! Joy is such a good word isn't it?  Campers love having animals such as sheep, pigs and chickens at summer camp, and now, the animal's summer home has a fresh look. Thanks to a group of 40 volunteers from St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale, the entrance sign to The Uncle Fogy Nature Center as well as the buildings and where the animals live during the summer have new coats of paint - and it looks GREAT! A huge thank you to all the St. John's volunteers who worked hard and did such a fantastic job at making camp look better than ever! Would your group like to volunteer? October 24-26 - Fall Family Camp - Join us at Camp Courage this year to enjoy camp as a family! Fall Family Camp offers all the fun of summer camp (indoor swimming, fishing, arts & crafts & more) with the gorgeous backdrop of fall. This is a great way for parents to introduce the camp experience to children. Email us or check out the flyer for more details!
November 13 - Give to the Max Day - Join us for the sixth annual charitable giving event through GiveMn.org. We'll be rallying all Minnesotans to cheer on their favorite cause during our 24-hour extravaganza of generosity. This year we will be raising money for a new playground at Camp Eden Wood. A generous donor has promised a match up to $10K for donations on this day!

The Camp Friendship Auxiliary works to maintain the garden at camp so we can all enjoy the beauty of nature! They also help with other projects like mailings and pot-lucks and raise money for camp by hosting the Holiday Party.
