Learn More About Our Friends at Harvard's Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center
|
The purpose of the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center at Harvard University (Harvard MRCT) is to improve the design, conduct, and oversight of multi-regional clinical trials, focusing on trials sited in or involving the developing world; to simplify research through the use of best practices; and to foster respect for research participants, efficacy, safety and fairness in transnational, transcultural human subjects research. Harvard MRCT's work generally falls into the following six focus areas: (1) clinical trial data sharing and transparency, (2) development of data monitoring committee infrastructure, (3) ethical frameworks for conduct of clinical trials, (4) global regulatory engagement, (5) causality assessment, and (6) investigator competence and training.
For more information about Harvard MRCT, please visit their website and sign up for the bi-weekly newsletter.
