THINKING REAL ESTATE?

BRING ON FALL

After one of Vancouver's record setting summers, September can be a welcome change as it brings a new motivation and familiar routine to jump start us into the months ahead.

However, the summer real estate market didn't slow down like the rest of us.  Strong sales, lower listing counts and buyer confidence has set the stage for a lively fall market ahead.

THE IMPACT OF THE MILLENNIAL GENERATION
ON THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY

DID YOU KNOW....
  • The average Canadian buyer is 29 years old?
  • The average realtor is 58 years old?

DID YOU KNOW...
  • A millenial is on one side of the transaction in 35% of all real estate deals?
DID YOU KNOW...
  • 42% of buyers found their home online?

The millennial generation - the 18 to 34 year olds -have vastly different communication styles, values, and methods of searching for a home compared to the generations before them.

The tech savvy Millennial generation wants online information, instant communication, and someone who understands their needs.  With a focus on work-life balance, a desire for urban community living with low maintenance properties, this generation is changing the way real estate is being marketed and sold.

Whatever your demographic, working with an agent such as myself, who understands the specifics of this generation, will help to achieve a successful and smooth transaction for everyone involved.
