PASCH Partner School
Also on May 13, GISC was honored by a visit from German Consul General Dr. Christian Brecht and Vice Consul Wiebke Zell, who presented GISC with a PASCH-Plakette, which is now displayed in the GISC lobby. The PASCH-Initiative (Partner School initiative) of the German Federal Foreign Office was launched in 2008. It is a global network of some 1,500 schools that place a high value on German. The purpose of the initiative is to develop vivid and long-lasting links with Germany and inspire schools, teachers and students to enjoy an open exchange of views and engage in cooperation. GISC is also now listed as a partner school on the PASCH website: www.pasch-net.de
