Are You Ready for CHRISTmas?

| What will you give Jesus this Year? |
Wow!! Can you believe that December is upon us and the Christmas Season. As I sat down to make my Christmas giving list the thought came across my mind? What will I give Jesus this year? I brought up this Question at our family devotion and we decided to give the Gospel. We printed these Christmas Cards pictured here and this is the message on the back of our Christmas Card that we hand out at shops and public places. The Message on the Back Reads:
"As the Burnette Bunch made this CHRISTmas Card we asked our kids what should be the Message of the Card? We all agreed: Jesus-Christ Each of our family members have had the privilege of personally receiving Jesus-Christ as Lord & Savior, we can testify that our souls have been saved and now we have an eternal home in Heaven. You too, can receive this gift if you realize you have disobeyed or Sinned against God. Realizing you're a Sinner: You understand that Jesus paid the price for your sins by shedding His Blood and Dying on the Cross for your personal sin debt. Then: Repent, simply turning from your sin and by faith call out to the Lord. Through Prayer ask the Lord to forgive you sin and save your soul. Will you receive this Free Gift and be Saved? If you have had the privilege of receiving this gift will you share Him with Others? Our Prayer for all is that we enjoy the reason of this Season: Jesus-Christ. Have a Very Merry CHRISTmas from the Burnette Bunch: David, Beverly, Joseph, Sarah, Lydia, John, Grace, James, and Faith."
The joy is in the giving this card is seeing the Lord work in so may lives. In making application we see that the Reason for the Season is Jesus-Christ, so it only makes sense to give Him a Gift, but the busyness of the season can cause us to overlook this simple truth. How about You? What will you give Jesus this Christmas? You can give your time or resources to your local Church or Ministries but whatever you do please don't forget Jesus on your Christmas giving list this year.

Your Labor is not in Vain. |
 "Thank You," to all those who are apart of this work as we had another good report of Souls Saved, Bibles Distributed, Devotions Emailed, Bibles Downloaded, Audio Bibles Accessed, and Online Bibles Accessed. Thanks again, for everyone who Prayed, Supplied Funds, Made Visits, Answered Emails, Placed Phone Calls, Provided Bibles, Delivered Bibles, and Shared the Gospel. Your labor is not in vain as I receive mail every day of souls being saved and lives being changed. Let us be encouraged to press to the mark of continuing in the Lord, to do His Will, and His Work in these last days. |
In November we had another huge month for web hits receiving 1.43 million web hits. These web hits coupled with the contacts we make through e-Devotions, Church Services, and email correspondence allowed our Ministry to connect over 2 million times in 120 countries. Praise the Lord!!! This ext ra traffic produced 3971 Bibles that were delivered and 327 Souls Saved. We also started a new website to handle Bible Questions www.AskTheGodOfTheBible.com which up and running. Our Remodeling continues but funds are depleted but we are so thankful for the pews that were donated for the prayer room along with the video monitor for power point. We only need material funds for flooring, trim, paint, refrigerator, to finish the remodeling (if you wish to donate to help us - just send us a Home Depot Gift Card) the Lord is making our home office a special place to Minister. I never thought the Lord would use us in such a large way but we realize that it is Jesus-Christ doing the work. We Thank the Lord for what He is doing and again thank you for your prayers and gifts. |

 It is very exciting to see how the Lord keeps giving us more ideas to expand our outreach. Along with which will be a testimony video website. will be up and running soon as our new online store. All these domains will give us a larger foot print on the web with the goal of reaching more folks with the Gospel. We are continuing to work on the Life Application notes that I send in our daily devotion to our commentary section of our Online Bible. This will make each Chapter of our Online Bible a devotion in itself with a Chapter of Scripture, Matthew Henry Commentary on the Chapter, and now my Life Application Notes all on the same page. We look foward to working with the Lord on these ideas and wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!

Thank you for viewing our New Finance Report. We have divided our Finances into 2 Sections. To the left is the (Bible and Postage Fund) All donations made to this Ministry by mail or PayPal will be placed into this fund. 100% of the donations will go to cover the Cost of Bibles and the Shipping. To Your Right Below, we also have an (Operations Fund) which covers the Physical Costs of Ministry and All of our Electronic Projects from Downloadable Bibles, Bible Translations, Internet Devotions, etc. A Special thanks to www.ChristianInc.org and Belmont Baptist Church for being our funding Partner on these Costs. Words cannot express our appreciation for all who give to the United States Bible Society. Funds given are only a small portion that is invested as thousand of Church Partners provide Bibles daily at their cost. As with any Ministry we have costs to provide our services. As Director, I too contribute to this Ministry and receive no personal support for our work. What a joy it is to give so others can receive God's Word. We continue as our Friends Pray and Give.
