Holy * Holy * Holy Lean in...
From Mark 11: Hosanna! Hosanna!! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestor David! Hosanna in the highest heaven! Hosanna! Hosanna!!
Dear Fellow Travelers ~ Holy, set apart (by God), sacred... we are entering a week that we call HOLY. If you have traveled with us on Sundays in Lent you have taken the journey step by step to the cross with Jesus. Each week we have taken one step closer and we have leaned into the story discovering that in the Garden, during his betrayal and denial, as he was judged and crowned, in each of these steps God's love has been shown to us. On Sunday, March 29 at both 9am and 10:30am, we put the story back together again. You will be invited to participate in the story, to fully engage in God's love as we prepare for Easter morning. You will be invited to lean into the story through words and song; the Children's Choir, the Hosanna Choir, the Handbells and the Worship Team will lead us through the Hosannas and the darkest times. Why do we do this? So that we will be ready for Easter morning! During Holy Week there are more opportunities to explore and engage in the story:
- Step into the Last Supper: Love, Betrayal, Forgiveness and Remembrance at Hosanna's 27th Annual Re-enactment on March 31, April 1 and 2 at 7:30pm in the Garden Chapel.
- Good Friday: We pause at the CROSS- through Jesus' life and death God acted in a unique way to save the world. April 3 at 7pm in the Garden Chapel.
- Easter Sunday, April 5, at 9am and 10:30am- Come and experience the SURPRISE!! Easter Breakfast is served from 8-11am as a Youth Fundraiser for Summer Camps and Trips.
See you in Church! ~Pastor Linda
P.S. Invite a friend to experience the story with you!

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
Hosanna's Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) is a monthly gathering of mature folks who enjoy socializing with fun, interesting people and sharing a meal together. We typically meet on the first
Thursday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday, then we meet a week later) for lunch. We alternate the location - one month at an area restaurant and the following month at church. Our primary goal is to enjoy each other's company, laugh and establish enduring friendships.
|
Copies of this booklet about the project completed in 2013 are available at the Welcome Desk. They include Nate Crary's introduction of how the project evolved and pictures of Barbara Johansen's original artwork and her descriptions of each painting. Your free-will donation will help fund the purchase of a permanent wall hanging system for displays and artwork at Hosanna.
