OK, we can't wait a minute longer to let you know. E-Greetings are back! Yay!

The longer version goes like this: we did a new StoryPeople website. There were a million little things to do along the way. A few of those million things fell off the counter & rolled under the refrigerator. We were so busy we didn't notice...

& then came that day we flipped the switch for the new site & turned it on. We couldn't wait to hear from you all. We were thinking that you'd all say Ooh & Ahh & tell us how you thought it was SO much better than the old site.
Which, to be fair, a lot of you did.

But then there were all of you that said Where are the e-greetings? Where are the free stories I send to all my friends & family on their birthdays & anniversaries & on days when I think of them & I want to send them something fun & heartfelt & StoryPeoplish RIGHT NOW?

Where did the e-greetings go? you asked. (In fact, one of you, or another, kept asking about five or six times every day...)

To tell you the truth, we thought we'd have the e-greetings up & running in a few weeks. We figure if we have an idea, we should be able to find someone to program it in a couple of hours. Even though our computer guy, Ben, has been quite patient, explaining over & over again that there's a formula for how long things take. Think pregnancy, he said. We usually laugh & ignore him, but sure enough, about nine months after we start working on anything to do with technology, it finally shows up. You'd think we'd learn. Sigh.

So, we're pretty excited that it only took seven months this time to get e-greetings back...

Like the new site, it's pretty easy-breezy. Pick the animation or image you want. Then pick the story you want to go with it. Write a personalized message & push send & off it goes. Simple as that!

Drop by when you get a moment & send an e-greeting (or a bunch of e-greetings. They're still free, just like they've always been...) to someone you love.

& again, sorry about the wait. We've been pregnant...:-)

with love,

The Crew at StoryPeople

P.S. The only problem we have, at the moment, is that Hotmail & all the Microsoft services are treating the e-greetings as spam. We've been talking with them, so they can put us on the approved list, but we have no control over how long that's going to take. We apologize in advance if the people you love are trapped in Hotmail & can't get a fun e-greeting from you...

P.P.S. While you're there for the e-greetings, take a moment & check out all the new stories that go on all the new metallic wristwraps, too. Brian wrote one story, Life Wants, just last week. So many of you saw it on his Instagram account & asked about it that we just went ahead & snuck it into the Create Your Own WristWrap options on StoryPeople right away.

But back to the metallics, they're just so darn sparkly that we can't help ourselves. Even though there's no real reason why we should tell you about sparkly wrist wraps when we're sending you an email about the return of the e-greetings, we don't care. We're like that with shiny things. Yay!
