Good guys to hang out with? Yes. Men that show up in the middle of the night for you? Doubtful. In fact most guys probably wouldn't even answer their phone for you after 10 p.m...

It has been said that most men only have about 2 true friends throughout their lifetime. Think about that. When I say true friends I mean the guys who would stand behind you, get in your face, call you out, keep your secrets and offer to show up. Men who walk alongside you not just for a season but throughout your lifetime. Know any men like that?

Friends & Brothers

We all have buddies from high school, college, our jobs and our neighborhood. Some may stay in touch but things change and life moves you. What were once your interests & hobbies may have gotten replaced with priorities & responsibilities. Maybe your belief system changes? What should we look for in the men we surround ourselves with and should we strive to be deeper in those bonds? Like a band of brothers in a time of conflict, we need to know someone has our back.

Do you have a friend who is tried and true? Are you aligning with men who may bring you down or lift you up? Will they fight beside you or stand beside you even if they don't agree with you? No matter where you are in the season of your life you need one or two men who will answer when you make the call.
