We appreciate your support in season's past as we look to the future. If you were thinking of making a holiday donation this season, we would appreciate it if you would consider making your donation early. Rose of Athens Theatre is honored once again by a community member who believe's in Rose's mission. Pledging $1,000 with the challenge that other community members donate to match, we are grateful and humbled as we head into Season 9. Can Rose count on you to donate? Whether you are involved with the mission of Rose of Athens Theatre every season or intermittently -

you have made an enormous impact on the service that this organization provides. Now, can Athens/Oconee County count on you to make sure our life-changing service continues? Your tax-exempt support is crucial, nowWe humbly request that if you are able to do so, please make your contribution before November 25th this year and assure our community that Rose of Athens Theatre will continue its service.

 

FUNDRAISING GOALS:

$13,250 by March 2015

$13,250 by July 1, 2015

Total raised: $28,500 by the end of Season Nine.


 

Please give in any increment at all - there is no small gift to this nonprofit service

organization. And finally, thank you for making the following programs possible for our community every

year, since 2006:

Rose of Athens Theatre Academy - "Teaching Life Skills Through Stage Skills",

the student body grows 30% each year.


 

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - Our page-to-stage series has brought

thousands of field trips to Athens, GA since 2009. Last year alone Rose of Athens

Theatre brought over 30 school groups to see such productions as Charlotte's Web

and A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Story.

 

Victorian Carolers - Bringing the past into the present in glorious song.


 

No Shame New Playwright Series - Led by Professor John Bray, UGA Drama

Department playwright instructor, this new works project features a new play every

month and has received critical acclaim in International magazines.


 

Shakespeare on the Lawn at Ashford Manor - 2008 - present - Our region's only

outdoor Shakespeare festival has been serving since 2008.
