Visit My Studio/Free Make-n-Take
The weather is warming up and there's a little bit of spring fever in the air. That gets me motivated to get the yard in order and get the studio ready for guests. That means YOU (and your friends)!

Come visit me for a casual afternoon in my encaustic studio. Talk. Make. Get inspired.

Saturday, April 4, 2015
From 2 - 6 pm
12717 NE Clackamas St., Portland
Near 126th and NE Halsey

I'm calling this open studio event Signs of Spring because you get to come and make your own little sign, plant marker or door hanger using some quick and fun techniques to introduce you to working with wax! These are kid friendly too so feel free to bring the whole family.

I'll also have my latest encaustic work out for you to see and buy and you can grab your spot in some of my summer classes. They are going fast! Of course, you'll also get to scritch scratch on my dog, Jack. I hope to see you soon!

Please RSVP on Facebook if you can so I'll know how many people to have project supplies for. If that's not easy for you don't worry about it, just come on over and I'll take care of you!

Show Opening: Children of Picasso

If you're up for even more inspiration I hope you'll also join me later that same evening, April 4,  at the opening for a show I'm in at In Bocca al Lupo Fine Art, a gorgeous gallery in Oregon City.

The show is called "Children of Picasso" and includes work with a playful spirit. The challenge of the exhibition is to encourage adult artists to find and express the freedom and joy of the child within as they present their work. It should be a really exciting show!

Opening Reception:
April 4 from 5 - 9 pm, the same day as my open studio
820 Main Street, Suite "D", Oregon City

The gallery is on 9th at Main across from Coffee Rush.
For more information call (971) 258-2502. The show runs through April 23.
