Soaring to New Heights in Service at PIT!

Several projects designed to update facilities and improve the customer experience at Pittsburgh International Airport are ongoing.

Renovated restrooms in the Landside Terminal have opened featuring new tile, countertops, automatic fixtures, baby changing facilities and additional space for baggage. Restrooms in the Airside Terminal are slated for renovation throughout this year and in 2016.

Last week, contractors began pouring the first strips of terrazzo for the new 65,000 square-foot local artist-designed, Pittsburgh-inspired floor. Work is continuing to refurbish the PeopleMover train between the terminals, and installation of a new Landside entrance seating area is forthcoming.

Airline mergers including American and US Airways, as well as AirTran and Southwest, are reconfiguring concourses with additional gates being opened. Next month, we are excited to welcome Allegiant to Concourse C with three new nonstop flights to top Florida destinations.
