reptilian overprinted ponte

Here's a surprise! This fabulous reptilian look is actually a ponte knit printed with a lizard-like design. The design gives a sheen to the surface and stretches with the knit rather than fighting it. The result is a terrific reptile look in an oh so comfortable knit. Great choice for skirts, tops, cardigans, dresses or insets. Poly/rayon/spandex.
wool cotton double knit

Classic with a distinctive twist! At first glance this fabric is a traditional black and white herringbone suiting. Look closer and read on! The wool/cotton blend is a full-bodied double knit which is a great choice for cardigans, unstructured jackets, or straight skirts

wool lace knit

Soft and plush wool yarns are interwoven into a poly lace to form 6-petal blossoms. The rich brick red heather is offset by the black lace underneath. What a unique fabrication that comes to us from Italy, of course. Choose a shawl (see photo with one of our shawl pins) or an open cardigan to play up this distinctive fabrication. Shown with Arco in Antique Bronze.
rayon jersey knit

Everyone needs one or two or three. Here is our latest black jersey knit perfect for all your T-tops: tees, tunics, turtles, tanks. Rayon/Spandex.
viscose knit

We went wild about this print! Printed on lightweight rayon/spandex jersey knit, the design and the colors are delightful and will sit well with many palettes. Rich raspberry, bright watermelon and golden yellow color the abstract angular shapes that appear to be block printed on the base. Choose your favorite pattern for tees, tanks or turtles and enjoy the versatility of this three season print. Viscose/Elastane.

Sew 'n Tell
with Patty E
Traverse City MI

Hi All - This is Vogue 1414 made with the Silk Du Jour silk and Applause buttons, both in dark olive. The fabric and buttons were both wonderful...thank you.

We love the pattern and the fabric you chose to go with it.
Very nice work!

Sew 'n Tell
with Sarah F
Arlington MA

Finally, I have finished my project, started over a year ago. The colors may not be easy to see, but I used a gorgeous purple Italian wool (from the last cut rack) & a spectacular ombr purple animal print silk & cotton. I used Vogue patterns, adjusting them for my tall self.

I'm braving the 1st snowstorm of the year to wear this tonight!
                    Best,
                       Sarah

What a nice outfit! You did an awesome job in capturing the life of the silk print!

Both fabrics are out of stock, but could be lurking in your stash! The top is Purple Passion silk, and we think the skirt could be Purplicious from 2012.
