2015 Pacific Halibut

Tomorrow begins the International Pacific Halibut Commission's 2015 Halibut Quota meetings in Juneau, AK. The meetings are scheduled for January 26th through the 30th in which share quotas will be set and distributed to each sector. Alaska's  share is speculated to be about 19.32 million pounds, according to the Alaskan Journal. Our ears are pinned to the feed and will be updated frequently with information on specific data. The catch quota and opening date will be revealed this week. Look for an update next Sunday.
