The Office of Neighborhood Involvement and Southwest Neighborhoods, inc. are providing funding for projects that:
  • increase the number and diversity of people involved and engaged in our community; 
  • strengthen neighborhood capacity to build community leadership, identity, skills, relationships and partnerships; or 
  • increase community and neighborhood impact on public decisions and community life.

PBOT Community-Initiated Trails Process

Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has released a draft Community-Initiated Trails Process and is asking for your feedback. 

Submit feedback to: trails@portlandoregon.gov

In response to the increasing trend in demolitions of single-family homes, a coalition of 40 Portland neighborhood associations presented a resolution and a video to Portland City Council in December. The hearing is scheduled to continue in January. Read the Portland Tribune article.

We invite all of our community members and volunteers to celebrate with us! We want to thank all of our wonderful volunteers and supporters who help with everything we do at TCWC! Join us for free food and beer and listen to our exciting guest speaker Sarah Jovan. She is a local lichenologist who will inform us on lichen in the Portland area and what it can reveal about local pollution.
