As a reminder, the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation will be closed from December 24, 2014 through January 1, 2015.

GrapeVine Sessions
In October, four sessions were held reaching 30 women.
They were:
- Dane County - Sue Richards (2)
- Dunn County - Becky Kneer
- Green County- Kate Wisnefske

GrapeVine Training
The final GrapeVine training for the year was held December 10th in Madison with 10 nurses in attendance.
Dr. Connie North and Dr. Elizabeth Chapman presented the Mental Health and Dementia units respectively.
2015 trainings will be held at the GrapeVine Conference on June 1 and June 2 in Madison at the Concourse Hotel.

Please watch your email for a survey requesting your feedback on the GrapeVine Project.
Also, in early January you will be receiving a mailing with your annual Memorandum of Understanding and Contact Information sheet. Please complete both items and return to the Foundation.

Participant Comments from October Sessions
What is the most important thing you remember from the session? 10/15/14 - The great need for mental healthcare and the resources are available- especially to those without health insurance.
Based on what you learned at the session, have you made any changes to reduce your or your family member's risk of depression or anxiety? 10/15/14 - Yes. Be less demanding of yourself and more accepting of others.
If you did learn something new from the Mental Health session, what was it? 10/15/14 - Mental health can affect my physical. Moods can affect how well a people can adapt to change.

- American Heart Month Cardiovascular Disease, including heart disease, stoke, and high blood pressure, is the number 1 killer of women and men in the United States. Learn about your risks for heart disease and stoke and stay "heart healthy" for yourself and your loved ones.
- Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month - Dating violence is a pattern of abusive behaviors used to exert power and control over a dating partner. 1/3 students report experiencing some form of abuse, and more than 2/3 never report that abuse to a caring adult. It it the time to learn more about the dating violence and take action to make a difference.
