Vail will host the World Championships opening ceremony & medal presentations & be "Party Central". 

Vail is made up of 2 main picturesque European inspired pedestrian Village - Vail Village & Lionshead Village Vail, plus a smaller base area Golden Peak with a children's ski school.

Vail is the largest ski resort in the USA with numerous groomed trails on the front side & its 7 legendary back bowls offer incredible skiing on a powder day.

Vail is "party central" for good reason - the nightlife is second to none, with fantastic live music, cool bars (we love Frost at The Sebastian Hotel) & world class restaurants. 

Beaver Creek mountain is ready to be "Race Central" with most of the medal events held on its famous Birds of Prey & Raptor race courses. 

Beaver Creek is known for its decadence with the slogan "Not exactly roughing it" summing up the luxury of the escalators to the slopes, the ski valet & freshly baked chocolate chip cookies to savour each afternoon.

Beaver Creek consists of 3 base areas - Beaver Creek Village with its family friendly ice rink, Bachelor Gulch with the Ritz Hotel & ski in ski out accommodation at Arrowhead Village.

The Birds of Prey runs are open to the public at other times in the season & the famous Golden Eagle is an epic run to try for expert skiers. For those who are not quite so daring Beaver Creek has many beautifully groomed intermediate pistes.
