Dr. McIvor's sermon is "The Real Lord's Prayer" based on John 17.1-11. he Lord's Prayer is the prayer Jesus taught disciples to pray. It begins, "Our Father, who art in heaven ..." Right? Well, yes, but there's more to it. Jesus did teach disciples to pray, but he also prayed and we read Jesus' prayer in John's Gospel. Because this is his prayer, it seems fair to call this the real Lord's prayer and in it Jesus prayed for three things: glory, disciples, and unity.

  Family Promise Presents Opportunity to Learn About HomelessnessTomorrow, May 31st, 9:00am
PCiS's Youth Ministry will be hosting a homelessness training on May 31st from 9:00-11:00am at the church. The training will be led by staff of Family Promise Metrowest, an organization that serves homeless families in our area. The training is open to all who are interested in learning more about the issue and how we can be involved in helping those who are affected by homelessness.
We would like to get an estimate of those interested in attending for planning purposes. Refreshments will be provided. Please let Matt Crane know or go online to submit your information here. |

Special Christian Education Planning Meeting
The Education Team would like to invite kids and parents to a planning session next Sunday, June 8th, immediately following the worship service.
We will discuss Christian Education for the fall including plans for Confirmation Class. We will also lay out the foundation for the summer 2015 Philippines mission trip (details and timeline) so that tentative participants can be identified by next month. Please contact Matt Crane with questions.

Worship at Wingate - Change of Date
Please join us June 8th at 1:00pm as we minister to God's "older children". Due to Father's Day, we moved our regular service up one week. Volunteers are always needed. Remember, the number of Wingate folks who get to attend worship is directly dependent upon the number of PCIS folks who are able to help out. Contact Susan DeHoff with questions.

Men's Monthly Breakfast and Bible Study will have their final meeting for this program year on Friday, June 13th at 6:30am.
Compassionate Knitting group meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at 7:00pm. Our next meeting is June 10th. Learn more.
Artists Group meets most Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm. All are welcome. *Check the calendar.
Wednesday Women's Bible Study and the Youth Groups will resume meeting in September.
