Brass-A-Holics band member, Winston Turner says "We are extremely excited about the partnership; this is a great opportunity for our fans, the WHO DAT Nation, and music lovers all over to help raise awareness about a very serious issue in today's society. The cool thing is that they will receive a really cool gift in return for their small investment in the campaign against domestic abuse". The newly released black and gold anthem features Rockin' Dopsie, Jr. (The king of Zydeco), BIGREC, and 5th Ward Weebie, who's most recent single "Let Me Find Out" has struck a nationally recognizable campaign across radio and social media. The new song entitled "Heart of the City (Saints on Fire Remix)" is a spin-off of the hit song that has been featured on Saints pre-game broadcasts and the NFL Network.

Michael Williamson, President and CEO of United Way of Southeast Louisiana says "The first time I heard 'Heart of the City' was the beginning of a tradition!  We all listened to it over and over as we cheered on our New Orleans Saints!  Now, in the wake of this roaring conversation regarding domestic violence and abuse, I can listen to the remix and stand up and cheer for the Saints and for those we serve that are living with domestic violence and abuse.  It is simply amazing to see this come together and we are so proud the Brass-A-Holics chose United Way as its partner."

Brass-A-Holics
In the year 2010, a brand new sound was born. The Brass-A-Holics Band and the Go-Go Brass Funk genre joined the ranks of the time honored traditions, culture and music that have come out of the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana. The ensemble consists of the core New Orleans brass elements - trombone, trumpet, saxophone and sousaphone, but also adds a full drum set, percussion, keyboard, and an electric guitar, and this kick ass "Go-Go Brass Funk" band called the "Brass-A-Holics" comes to life before your eyes and ears. A Brass-A-Holics show is a singular experience. Where else can you hear Chuck Brown, Miles Davis, Nirvana, John Coltrane, Wham, Cyndi Lauper, Kanye West, and Louis Armstrong all in one set?
