Recently we hosted our first annual company picnic at the Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach to celebrate the wonderful people that work for our organization. We had a magical time when our Team Members came together for food, fun and laughter as we all lived our core value of "balance." I very much enjoyed being dunked by numerous people in the dunking booth to raise money for the JT Walk. The highlight of the day for me was Pete Sheeran getting dunked over and over again.
As we reflect on the great people working with our company, we are excited about the recent addition of our new Team Members that transitioned from Waverton. With seven beautiful developments including over 2,000 apartment homes, Waverton Associates, Inc. is one of the most respected apartment developer and owners in Virginia and we are proud to have them as part of our family. Welcome to our team!

Team Appreciation Picnic
Our 1st Annual Team Appreciation Picnic took place this month at the Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach. Team Members joined from all regions to celebrate our great company with an afternoon filled with food, games and music. Cherie James, Taylor Franklin, Chris McKee, Dan Thomas and Pete Sheeran graciously volunteered to participate in the dunking booth to raise money for the JT Walk. A special thank you to Gloria Harrison for planning this wonderful event and Elizabeth River Landscaping for providing the live music performed by The Cody Austin Band. We will continue this cherished event annually in the future.

Welcome Team Waverton
We are proud to announce that Waverton Associates has selected The Franklin Johnston Group to manage all of their multifamily communities. On October 1st, our portfolio grew with the addition of seven new communities and we welcomed 40 new Team Members to join our family. 7th Annual JT Walk
We participated in the 7th Annual JT Walk and Beach Party in Virginia Beach this month. A special thank you to everyone that assisted in raising donations and walking to support a great cause. Our Team raised a total of $13,638 with 103 walkers. Congratulations to the Teams at Spring Water, Woodberry Forest and Southwind for raising the most donations. We hope to see everyone there next year!

2014 Neptune Festival
We participated in the Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach, which attracts over 500,000 people to the oceanfront during boardwalk weekend every year. Our community Teams came together last month to raise money by wearing jeans and going casual. We are proud to announce that together we raised a total of $380 for the Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughters. Thank you to everyone for your support to this wonderful cause!
