THE CHAMBER IS MOVING!
Chamber Office Closed October 30-31
The Chamber office will be closed on Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31 in order to move to our new location.

As of Monday, November 3, 2014, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce office will be relocated to 2009 14th Street North, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22201. The new Arlington Chamber office will be on the street level in a brand new LEED Gold certified building, walking distance to the Court House Metro Station located on the orange and silver lines

As some Chamber members may recall, this is the Chamber's former location. For the last two years, the Chamber has eagerly anticipated the completion of the new building at 2009 14th Street. In the meantime, the 4600 Fairfax Drive office served as our interim location.

We have furniture items that will not fit into our new space that we would like to offer to Chamber members at no cost. Items available include ten detached conference room tables, a reception desk and a three sided desk with matching credenza. Please contact Devin Joyce, Member Services Administrator at (703) 525-2400 for more information, or to arrange a pick up time on Thursday, October 30.

CHAMBER ACCEPTING YEA! STUDENT APPLICATIONS
Student Applications are due November 30, 2014

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) 2015 class.

YEA! is a cutting-edge program that takes students through the process of starting and launching a real business or social movement. The class (comprised of 24 students ages 11-18) meets after school each Wednesday at University Partner, Marymount University from January - May 2015.

Through the class, students develop business ideas, write business plans, conduct market research, pitch their plans to a panel of investors, and actually launch and run their own real, legal, fully formed businesses. The YEA! application is available online here.

Please let us know if you know a budding entrepreneur in middle school or high school, and help spread the word about this amazing program! Students do not have to attend school in Arlington, but need to be able to attend class in Arlington Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Student applications must be received by November 30, 2014. This is the application deadline for the YEA! Class of 2015. The selection process is competitive and applicants are urged to apply early.

For more information about the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, please visit the Arlington Chamber YEA! website. If you have questions, please contact Cassie Bate at [email protected] or call (703) 525-2400.

Thank you to YEA! Premier Partner Technology Management Inc.
