All,

The Alexandria (VA) Fire Department has released a comprehensive line of duty death report about Paramedic Joshua Weissman.  Paramedic Weissman was the first member of the Alexandria Fire Department since 1965 to give his life in the Line of Duty during an emergency response.

As some of you will remember, Joshua fell from a bridge while on the scene of a car fire on Interstate 395 just south of Washington D.C. on February 8, 2012.

The members of the Alexandria FD sincerely hope that this report will honor Medic Weissman's memory and be used nationwide in an effort to prevent such a tragedy from occurring in the future. RIP.
