"The gates opened and all of the loud sounds and strong smells and bright colors of India hit me full force. The magic had worked. I had entered an entirely different world. I was finished with flying and ready to explore. However, fate would not treat me so kindly. Flying, it seemed, was to be a constant theme of my life over the next eight weeks. Tarun Khanna discusses mobile technology, emerging economies in Bangalore and Dhaka
Last week, Tarun Khanna, SAI, HBS, led two events in South Asia related to his research. On August 13th, Khanna spoke on "Mobile Technology: Spurring Social and Economic Enterprise in South Asia" in Bangalore. On August 19th, Khanna delivered a talk at BRAC University in Dhaka, titled "Developing an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Emerging Economies," in which he highlighted the critical role entrepreneurs play in advancing a nation's economy and bringing forth prosperity. Both were an opportunity for the community to hear about SAI's work and connect with Harvard faculty.
