Columbus, GA. - MSN today announced the addition of Claudia Murray, BA, RCC, to its management team as HIPAA and Corporate Compliance Officer. Claudia has an extensive background in healthcare beginning with her twenty one years of employment with Medicare. During this time Claudia served in many roles with specific focus on correct coding, utilization review and compliance.

Following this experience,Claudia launched into a healthcare consulting career with Provider Practice Management (PPA) and Claudia Murray Consulting(CMC). She co-authored the RBMA and PPA Compliance Implementation Toolkit and RBMA HIPAA Workbook for Privacy and Security. In her role as consultant, she provided on-site operational assessments, due diligence and accounts receivable financial analyses for both physician practices and billing companies. She has also designed and implemented compliance plans and auditing programs, provided oversight for OIG Corporate Integrity Agreements and served as an Independent Review Organization (IRO).
Claudia is a frequent presenter at educational conferences within the healthcare industry and has served in the following roles:
- RBMA Education Committee (1998-2005)
- RBMA Liason to the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Associated Sciences Consortium (2004-2013)
- Current Board Member of the Radiology Coding Certification Board (RCCB)
- AHIMA Member
