Blue Rose

cotton lycra twill

If you love shades of blue, this stunning printed twill is for you. Large florals in white and denim blue are clustered together with accents of deeper blues on a navy ground. The largest blossoms are about 4 inches in diameter . We see a jeans jacket, duster, skirt or pants for the daring. This fabulous print on cotton stretch twill was imported from France.

cotton cross weave

Spring weather brings the need for lightweight, but durable bottom fabrics. This blue and white cross weave is a perfect solution for pants, skirts, crops or shorts. We can also recommend a classic blazer or a casual suit. The fabric is stable without being too heavy. Available in four colors each crossed with white yarns softening the effect of the primary color. All cotton
Also available in tan, pine, and cocoa

cotton iridescent

This iridescent is a subtle color combination of denim blue and midnight. The resulting color is a fine navy blue. The crisp hand will work up best in structured dresses or jackets, pants and skirts. Cotton/Poly.

polka dot linen

If you love a vintage look, you will have to add this linen polka dot to your resource center. The tiny pin dots in white sit on a soft navy ground. We can just picture a fit and flare dress or a springtime skirt. This classic print will work for pants and shorts as well. Imported from Italy. All linen

 print viscose lycra
Wow!  This amazing print imported from France is speaking to everyone around here...how about you?  The complexity of the designs and the juxtaposition of animate and inanimate is eye-catching.  The repeat is 39 inches, but it is not a panel.  You can mix your garment pieces as you wish, match or not.  The printed bands flow easily into one another from denim blue reptile to natural colored leopard and ivory lace. Small bits of black show through each band to anchor the main color.  The slinky nature of the viscose knit lends itself to drapey tops, loungewear  or dresses.

cotton jersey knit

This classic denim blue is perfect for any of your T tops from tank to tee to turtle and tunic. Stock up now if this color is a favorite. All cotton. Extra wide: 64 in

rayon nylon spandex ponte

This ponte knit is the perfect weight for dresses or tunics.  Soft, drapey, but with plenty of stability for slightly structured separates.  Cosmopolitan has been available since last fall, but we've sampled the navy here for you to coordinate with this collection.  It will be your go-to ponte knit this season. Rayon/nylon/spandex. 58 in (C-Flat) $26.00/yd  Also available in black, Go Red, and Lavender Gray

Sarah has made a very stylish knit top! It's gorgeous!

"Tonight I completed a great new top: Vogue pattern 1378 in the beautiful black wool jersey. The fabric is a dream! And since warm weather is way far away, I'll get plenty of use out of this top."

Best,

Ann is thinking spring dressing and has made this very cute frock to share with us!

"I have had many complements on this outfit.

I made the dress from a Butterick pattern of mine

(A favorite because it has this slimming princess dart in the front). It is a David Warren design # 6584 and takes 3 yards of 45 inch and 2 yards of 60 inch fabric.
 E
asy and fast to make and looks great!
