CAWA Gives Thousands to Oppose Margin Tax in Nevada
Through its Nevada political action committee, the Association has given funds to oppose the establishment of a "margin tax" for the State's businesses. The tax, if voters approve, will cost businesses 2% of their gross revenues as another funding source for the State of Nevada. Establishing an Arizona Political Action Committee (pac) Fund in the Works at CAWAThe CAWA Board of Directors authorized the examination of establishing a political action committee (pac) in Arizona. President & CEO, Rodney Pierini and Arizona-based legislative advocate, Stuart Goodman are leading the examination.
