Data analytics and participatory health among our hot topics

HISA thanks everyone who responded to our call for expressions of interest in forming new Communities of Practice.
Data analytics, participatory/consumer health, clinicians in health informatics, telehealth and primary care were the strongest areas of interest  by members. There was also good support for nursing informatics, digital hospital design, aged care, education, privacy and security.  Of total respondents, 76% said they could advise on emerging trends and policy directions and 75% said they were interested in joining prospective advisory panels.
In next steps, HISA will be contacting members who indicated interest to move ahead with planning.  The new COP working groups will support  HISA in shaping Australia's digital health environment.
Join the digital health community at HITWA  - only one week to go!
