The student leaders of the Junior State of America cordially invite you to participate in their 2015 Spring Congress Convention (April 17-19 at a local venue). We hope that you will be able to join hundreds of students and teachers for an exciting educational

experience.

What is Spring Congress?

Congress 2015 is a student-run simulation where students take on the role of Members of Congress in order to better understand the legislative process by participating in it. It is also the conference where Arizona students will elect their JSA state leadership for the following year.

Our Ar�te JSA members are preparing a bill to sponsor for this Congressional Session. Attendees will serve as House and Senate leaders, Committee Chairs and Clerks etc.

Spirit Week - NEXT WEEK

Mentor Monday (2/2)

Mentors should wear their mentor polos and are encouraged to check in with mentees. Mentees may want to do something special for their mentors on this day. This day will not be included in the section totals.

Crazy Tie Tuesday (2/3)

Students may wear a crazy tie (not socks). Students do not have to pay $1 as they do for crazy sock and tie day which will happen later this year.

College Wear Wednesday (2/4)

Students may wear a college shirt or polo with their chosen college logo/mascot or their parents' alumni logo/mascot. Students should not wear clothing with sayings on them such as "Fear the Fork!" Logos and mascots only.

Athletic Thursday (2/5)

Students may wear athletic shoes and if they play a winter sport then they may wear their jersey. Go Chargers!

Favorite Figure Friday (2/6)

Students may dress as their favorite literary or historical figure. Costumes should be in line with normal dress code.

The section with the most participation (%) will win a free raffle ticket to use at the Fun Run and Picnic!
