Animal Communication with Joan Ranquet

May 2014

Greetings,

The big news on my end is I finally have a release date from my publisher Sounds True for my new book "Energy Healing for Animals" of August, 2015! I know that seems far away, but it really is in about 15 minutes!

I'm about to leave for the dolphin trip, and since people regularly ask me what the difference is between communicating with wild animals vs. domestic animals, I thought I would create a little story. Below, please find my article on Connecting with Wild Animals. I have so many amazing stories to share about the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) work on animals - next newsletter!!

I have a really fun webshow coming up - about becoming an Animal Communicator - I will review everything from the steps to take to become an animal communicator, ideas for deepening intuition and when to know it's time to leave corporate America! Sign up to join me!

fancyConnecting with Wild Animals

As I am about to embark on another trip with the dolphins, and have a trip coming up to Kenya to connect with wild animals, I am always humbled and thrilled to have the opportunity for connection with other species. Many people ask me what is the difference between communicating with wild animals vs. domestic animals. I thought this would be a fun topic.

Wild animals are living in a different reality than we are. They don't have to worry about the UPS guy showing up at an inopportune moment, though my dogs never think the UPS guy shows up at an inopportune time, because they GET TO BARK!! Woohoo!

Wild animals live in the moment in a way we don't. When I am swimming with dolphins, it is so magnificent, yet, as caught up in the moment as I may be, I know it will end, I know I have to get back on the boat. When I go there, I can even go to the place of thinking what the next meal is or where is my book.......wild animals don't have a plan coming up.

Wild animals aren't looking at the clock and thinking that food must be delivered to them. Though they can certainly recognize behavioral patterns of others and hunt within the perfect right timing of an opportunity, they aren't aware of a clock the way domestic animals are, unless they have joined with us in a co-created reality.

Joining with us in a co-created reality means we have come to appreciate an acceptance, a connection, an appreciation and a level of trust. We've all seen those videos where an injured fawn doesn't panic because some fireman is leaning toward the fawn, saying "you're okay" and the fawn allows the fireman to untangle him. Or the dolphin that actually knew the human that could get the net off of him/her.

What is that?

When we have the sole intention of helping in that manner, we have a soft and gentle energy field. Even if we have a little trepidation, our big intention overrides the fear. Our energy field can have a big impact on a deep connection with animals in the wild. (As well as our animals at home!)

One day I was out in my pasture, without my dogs, at the far end, away from my horses. I noticed that there was a distinct feeling.......a little fear overwhelmed me. I stood still. I looked around. Off in the distance, behind a tree was a little deer peering out at me. I had walked into his/her fear zone. My eyes followed her darting eyes and I realized there were two more young deer.

I pulled my energy field into my center, as I do with the dolphins, and in no time, these baby deer were dancing around me like I was a maypole. It's as if they had cast their fear out as a net and they couldn't catch anything to feed into their fears, and I was deemed safe.

When connecting with the dolphins, it's not as if we ask what they are doing on Thursday - Thursday holds no value to them. Yet, they can share pictures, words and feelings the same way our animal companions do, it is just different.

Our domestic animal friends, or even wild animals in a sanctuary, have a reality with humans, including joining in a co-creation.

Ultimately, the difference is so subtle, as it all boils down to connection. We communicate more deeply via telepathy with our domestic animals to improve the connection.
The wild animals allow us a short cut straight to connection!

Enjoy your next wild animal encounter, pull your energy field in and see how they respond!!

Blessings,
