2014 EWGA NCal Semi-Final Results
Twelve Sacramento Chapter members competed in the EWGA Northern California Semi-Finals on Saturday, August 2 at the Stevinson Ranch Golf Club.  Two of our members are moving on to the finals in Nashville, Tennessee, October 10-12.  They will be joining Karen Biscaha, who won her flight last year and is exempt from the local qualifiers.

The County Women Women's Championship was held August 2-3 with several EWGA members competing.  The results...

20th County Vintage Championship 
The 20th Annual County Vintage Championship was played at Mather Golf Course on August 4-5.  Several Chapter members had a great showing!

Cal Cup Team Captains Named
Lori Lucius was voted in as Team Captain of the 2014 Cal Cup Team.  She will be joined by Krista Wylder as a Co-Captain.  Lori picked the final member of the Cup Team ~ Marcia Whiting.  The other members of the team are:

Apple Mountain Play Day Cancelled!!!
The Apple Mountain Play Day scheduled for August 23 has been cancelled.  We are very sorry about the need to take such a drastic measure and hope to reschedule something at Apple Mountain in the future.
Volunteers Needed for 2014 State Fair Junior Championship
Several of our members have volunteered for this tournament in past years and have really enjoyed the juniors.  The tournament will be held August 23, 2014 at Haggin Oaks and volunteers will keep score for the 7-11 year old players.  

The time commitment for volunteers will be from 6:45 AM to the conclusion of the nine hole round.  If you are interested in helping, contact Tom Marks at [email protected] or (916) 397-3027 by August 16, 2014.
