We're looking for volunteers for an upcoming casino fundraiser. Volunteer with a friend and have a great night supporting women in your community. It's a great way to get involved for busy people with full schedules or retirees with some extra time.
Visit our website for available shifts, or contact Filsan at 403-264-1155.
Christmas Toy Drives

Every December, the Women's Centre hosts a toy room where women can come to choose gifts for their children. Last year nearly 2,500 children and women received gifts through our holiday program. In order to meet the needs of these families this December, we need your help. Please consider hosting a toy drive to support the community. Contact Carolina to sign up today.
Commmunity Events

The 10th annual Sisters In Spirit Vigil to honour missing and murdered Aboriginal women is starting at City Hall downtown and marching to Eau Claire Market this Thursday. Join us at the Women's Centre at 12:30 pm with your drums, rattles and noise-makers.
Featured Workshops
Our workshops & groups are free and open to all women. Click here to see the complete October calendar.

As a follow-up to the Sisters in Spirit Vigil, please join us for a short video presentation and discussion about missing and murdered Indigenous women, and Indigenous women's issues and opportunities in Alberta and Canada. No children in this workshop please.

Do you feel bogged down, anxious or worried? Join us to learn more about Tap to Relax, a stress-relief technique that's easy to learn and do by yourself. You will tap Chinese meridian points on your face and upper body while talking about stressful issues to generate positive emotions and the feeling of being calm and safe. During this workshop women are invited to practice tapping on themselves. The facilitator will not perform tapping on the participants. No children in this workshop please.

Come join us to learn some basics of modern and ancient styles of Hawaiian Hula dance. No previous experience required. This workshop is for all skill levels and body types. Dress comfortably. No children in this workshop please.

Winter is approaching, and it's not too early to prepare your car for winter driving conditions.  We'll talk about tires, fluids, tune ups, belts and anything that can easily break down to leave you stranded. Parts of the workshop will be hands-on learning in the parking lot. If you have a car, feel free to bring it. No children in this workshop please.
