Christmas Toy Drives
Every December, the Women's Centre hosts a toy room where women can come to choose gifts for their children. Last year nearly 2,500 children and women received gifts through our holiday program. In order to meet the needs of these families this December, we need your help. Please consider hosting a toy drive to support the community. Contact Carolina to sign up today.

Do you feel bogged down, anxious or worried? Join us to learn more about Tap to Relax, a stress-relief technique that's easy to learn and do by yourself. You will tap Chinese meridian points on your face and upper body while talking about stressful issues to generate positive emotions and the feeling of being calm and safe. During this workshop women are invited to practice tapping on themselves. The facilitator will not perform tapping on the participants. No children in this workshop please. Come join us to learn some basics of modern and ancient styles of Hawaiian Hula dance. No previous experience required. This workshop is for all skill levels and body types. Dress comfortably. No children in this workshop please.
Winter is approaching, and it's not too early to prepare your car for winter driving conditions. We'll talk about tires, fluids, tune ups, belts and anything that can easily break down to leave you stranded. Parts of the workshop will be hands-on learning in the parking lot. If you have a car, feel free to bring it. No children in this workshop please.
