The Language of Dogs and Cats
Tuesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Have you ever wondered what your pet was trying to say? Dogs and cats are talking to us all the time, but unfortunately their messages are often lost in translation. Dr. Michelle Posage, DVM, presents this review of canine and feline communication and will discuss how dogs and cats use scent, vocalization, and body language to relate to each other and to us.

News & Announcements

Weather Closings
The GPL does, on occasion, close during extreme weather for the safety of library users and staff. When this happens, we will notify local television and radio stations, and post the announcement on our web site at goffstownlibrary.com, on our Facebook page, and on  Twitter.

Tax Forms and Publications - Important Update
Due to funding cuts recently passed by Congress, the distribution of tax forms to libraries has been significantly negatively impacted. We have been notified that we will only be receiving 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ forms, along with several publications. They will NOT be supplying other forms, schedules or instructions.

Until these arrive at the library, you can access needed forms online. If printing at the library, standard charges will apply. If you need assistance with online ordering or printing from one of our computers, please see a library staff member.

You can reach the IRS.gov website from home, the library, or wherever you have internet access:
