As you know, Glendale (KY) volunteer Firefighter Lt. Jonathan French was killed in the Line of Duty on the morning of Aug. 6 when a semi crashed into their fire apparatus while he was putting out a van fire along southbound I-65 near Glendale. His mother, Lisa French, who is also a volunteer Glendale firefighter, was injured in the crash. She is expected to be able to attend her son's funeral.

Visitation for Jonathan French will be held on:

Sunday, Aug. 10 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at First Christian Church on North Miles Street in Elizabethtown.

The funeral will begin at the church at noon.

According to the Elizabethtown Fire Department, condolences can be sent in the form of donations to any West Point Bank location in care of the Ladean Clark Benefit Fund.

Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of the funeral arrangements, but it is no longer able to accept flowers. RIP.
