Victorian Christmas Stroll - December 1-23

Celebrate the season with Tampa's most popular holiday tradition! Visit the Museum which has been completely remade into a holiday wonderland. We trim the trees (more than one, of course!) with ornaments, toys, flowers, and more. Lights twinkle like stars as Christmas music plays on the veranda. Our warmth and charm will get the whole family in the spirit of the holidays!

The 33rd annual Victorian Christmas Stroll runs from December 1 - 23, 2014 and is open from 10 am to 8 pm daily. Each of our 14 exhibit rooms will dazzle you with a 19th century Victorian holiday. No visit to the Stroll is complete without stopping by the Museum Store - a treasure trove of unique gifts. Finally, finish your visit by listening to music as you enjoy cider and cookies on the veranda.

Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra - December 7, 1 pm

Enjoy classical music and holiday favorites during a concert by the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra at the Henry B. Plant Museum. On Sunday, December 7th at 1 pm, members of the orchestra will perform on the veranda.

The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra provides superior music training, while guiding students toward a lifelong appreciation of classical music. Students audition and are divided into four orchestral ensembles based on their skills. More than 200 students participate

The concert is included with the price of admission to the Victorian Christmas Stroll. The concert begins at 1 pm and will include a string quartet and a chamber ensemble.

Bits N Pieces Puppet Theatre: A Victorian Christmas Entertainment- December 14, 4 pm

Experience the magic and old-fashioned fun of a Victorian style entertainment at the Victorian Christmas Stroll on Sunday December 14th at 4 pm. Bits N Pieces Puppet Theatre Presents: A Victorian Christmas Entertainment includes three short plays followed by an interactive puppet-making activity.

Similar to entertainments that would have been offered before dinner in the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, Bits N Pieces Puppet Theatre has selected three stories to warm the hearts of all who see them. The performance is included with the price of admission to the Victorian Christmas Stroll. Don't miss this fun event - great for the whole family!
