It's exciting that Iraq has voted into law it's budget for 2015. Now it can disburse funds and bring more unity between the Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites. Remember that people were questioning if Iraq needed to have the money before it passed the budget, but now we can see clearly that Iraq needed the budget in place before it could have the money. Now they have the money and you'll begin seeing many articles talking about how Iraq is going to pay salaries and the military and whatever else.

We still have a way to go with the Sunnis, such as the Accountability and Justice Act and Amnesty Law, these are being read in the coming week and it looks like the parliament is rushing (like molasses) the Oil & Gas Law (HCL) into two readings and a vote this week as well.

It is Tuesday and a regular meeting of the COM (Council of Ministers) ....they continue to work together well it seems....various Parliamentary committees are hard at work on a variety of laws and acts......Maliki's party seems to be splintering......President Masum speaks on a couple of different but important issues....no signed budget as yet.

Iraq is saying that some "grades" will not be forthcoming until "after" they have verification of financial abundance.....that sounds like it would be of interest doesn't it...."financial abundance"......what would be considered financial abundance for Iraq....

Well, we have been in this blessing wait for 5+ years now and with everything that is coming out right now, I feel confident that we are just in a waiting process while they dot the i's and cross the t's.

Now I am doing what many of you should do. I am saying Farewell to all of my dinarian friends and tell you that it has been a pleasure in talking to you all for the past five years.

Once this happens, you want to be as hard to find as possible. You want to be "off the grid" and so low profile that nobody knows who you are or where you got your wealth.

In fact, they should not even know you have wealth.

Baghdad-Iraq Press -3 February: The Cabinet held its regular fifth for 2015 in Baghdad, on Tuesday, headed by the Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, and issued by the Council following decisions:

There's been a lot of craziness going on the whole 11plus years. It's entirely possible that much of the news we get, while appearing to be "Breaking", actually broke two or three weeks before into reality. I'm just saying...their purpose has been all along, for this to come "suddenly", I believe

EU May recognize VN As Market Economy

The European Union (EU) expects it and Vietnam can soon conclude negotiations over a free trade agreement (FTA), and this will make it possible for the EU to recognize Vietnam as a market economy, said the Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation to Vietnam.

Speaking to the Daily at a press conference on the 25th anniversary of the EU-Vietnam diplomatic relations held in Hanoi on January 29, Franz Jessen said he hoped that the FTA would lead to changes in Vietnam's economic structure.

Millionday: Economic Commission attributed the Iraqi Council of Representatives, on Monday, rising dollar exchange rate of the dinar in the Iraqi market to the decisions taken by the Central Bank during the past few days to support the economic development that, while likely economist return of the dollar to normal rates through a simple period,

attributing the reason for the rise to "rush" banking offices to buy the dollar, as well as reducing the quantities sold by the central bank as recommended by the general budget.

Viet Nam Moving In The Right Direction

Standard Chartered Bank recently released a report called Global Research 2015 - The Year Ahead, Rekindling the Animal Spirit, which also takes a look at Viet Nam's economic and financial outlook, growth, FDI prospects, trade and interest rate. Viet Nam News spoke with the bank's economist, Betty Rui Wang, about these issues.

How do you see the prospects for the Vietnamese economy in 2015?

This year we expect Viet Nam's GDP growth to accelerate to 6 per cent, slightly higher than our previous forecast of 5.8 per cent for 2014. Foreign direct investment and exports are likely to increase as well.
