Katniss Everdeen Isn't the Only Hero Fighting for Her Family
In a piece co-authored with Generations United's Board member, Jatrice Martel Gaiter, Donna Butts calls on all ages to do more to support our vets this thanksgiving. "As we give thanks and look forward to the holiday season," Butts and Gaiter write, "let's give support, attention and comfort to the generations of vets in our families and communities." Happy Thanksgiving!

The novelist and playwright Dodie Smith once described the family as "that dear octopus from whose tentacles we never quite escape, nor, in our inmost hearts, ever quite wish to." And we couldn't agree more.

Dodie's octopus is also a metaphor for the interdependence of all ages. Let's remember that and appreciate the tentacles of love reaching across generations. Happy Holidays from Generations United!
