The Joy of Giving Tree

The Christmas tree in the cafe is up and decorated with beautiful ornaments!
Look for the ''Joy of Giving'' ornaments with missionary  names on the back and choose a missionary that you would like to bless this Christmas. Place your donation in the envelope in the back of the ornament and then please put the ornament in the "Giving Tree" box by the tree. Checks should be payable to New Hope Chapel with a designation on the memo line.

 

Local Ministry Opportunities
My Brother's Pantry - On Sat., Dec. 12 four volunteers are needed to work with Broadneck Baptist at 8:30 AM to bag food, and on Sat., Dec. 19 to distribute the bags of food. Contact Barbara, our church secretary, if interested in helping on either day. There is a list of recommended non-perishable food to donate. A collection box is in our cafe'. Contact Barbara, our church secretary, if interested in helping on either day. 
Pregnancy Clinic Ministry -  Be a volunteer at one of their clinics. Info about volunteering is on their website. You can also select 'Bowie-Crofton Pregnancy Clinic' as your charity of choice when shopping on smile.amazon.com.. There is no cost to you and the Pregnancy Clinic receives 0.5% of your eligible purchases.  
Chores n More - to provide transportation to an appointment, the library, or to help run errands.

Join the women at Julie's home in a study of the Gospel of Luke.

The women will meet Dec 1 and Dec 15, and after the holidays on Jan 5.

Men's In Christ - Tuesdays @ 8 PM
"Negotiating With God and other Powerful People"  In this series we are exploring the scriptures looking for wisdom in how we relate to God and how we can also relate to others whom we are trying to influence.  It is my hope that you will gain insight into how your prayer-life and daily walk with God might expand and also how you might relate to others more effectively both at work and at home.  Meet at Bill Smith's at 8:00 PM. Homeschool Club
Join other students in K - 12, Fridays, 2 - 4 PM at NHC. You'll enjoy different activities that include service projects, games, cooking, crafts and field trips. This is a great way for parents and children to build friendships and to learn. Contact: Kristin Bloom
