MEM Celebrates its First December Graduation

The first ever winter graduation ceremony was held on December 15, 2014 in the Technological Institute's Ryan Family Auditorium, and honored a total of 120 Master's students and 13 PhD students. Of those students, five were from the MEM Program: Michael Anderson, Drew Arnold, Christopher Brown, Siti Harahap, and Carson Smith.

After the ceremony, the MEM Program held a reception for its graduates in the department's new space. It was an intimate affair with friends, family, and several staff and faculty members including Dr. Don McNeeley, Professor Michael Marasco, Associate Director Steve Tilley, Program Coordinator Diane Kessler, and Director Mark Werwath.

New Building for MEM
MEM is now located in the North Parking Garage Structure

MEM will share the new space with MSiA and MSIT. It includes collaboration space for students, two classrooms and break out rooms for four teams, a guest faculty office and a student copy room. MEM offices will also be co-located in the same area. The new MEM space is a short elevator ride away from the parking space and a quick enclosed walk over to the athletic facility. There will also be a juice bar nearby.

Classes in Fall 2014 were held in the new building. To see more photos check out the blog post on the MEM blog!
