You'll see several links here - one for the main directory, and then one for each periodic update (the updates contain only the changes, not the entire directory, so you don't have to reprint the whole thing!). GolfTEC-Proven Path, Proven Results...
Have you signed up for our GolfTEC evening on Wednesday, October 22nd?
You'll get to try out the exciting new launch monitor - not sure what that is? Well come and find out. There will be a Driving Contest and a Closest to the Pin Contest. You cannot win if you do not play. So grab your Driver, 7 iron and a pitching wedge if you are feeling lucky. Not at the top your game? Well just chill and grab a glass of wine - the coaches at GolfTEC will inspire you.
This is a free event but the deadline for registering is October 21st.

| They're Back and They Returned with Trophies! |

Krista Wylder, Carey McLean and Karen Biscaha just returned from the EWGA Championship in Nashville, TN and brought home a few mementos and some great memories.
 Krista played in the Championship Flight and ended up with a two day combined gross score of 178 for a net score of 162.
 Karen won the Second Flight with a Low Gross score of 180 (net was 132). This is the 5th year that she has been a flight medalist in multiple flights!
 And, Carey, lost in a card-off for 1st Low Net but she did come home as the 2nd Low Gross winner!

We had 34 ladies playing the beautiful Catta Verdera County Club. Twenty-one (21) were playing the event as the second event for the Stableford league, and 13 were playing the event not as part of the league.
For those not part of the league, they also played the Stableford format and first place went to Karen Zamarripa with 44 points. Second place won in a card off was Jeanne Hoffman with 38, and Kris Corbridge also with 38 took 3rd.
We also had closest to the pin contests on all the par threes with a $5 buy-in paying two spots. First place received $25, and second place $15. The winners were as follows:

Hole 6: Marcia Whiting - 15' 6"

Week 1 of the Stableford League was played at Timber Creek. The wind was rough to play in but everyone did with good spirits!
First Place - Marcia Whiting with 43 points
Second Place - Sonya Bradley with 39 points
Third Place - Jeri Paik with 38 points.

There were nine of us who attended the great MELT Method Introduction class on October 10th. With the use of a soft foam roller and specifically designed balls for the body, hands and feet, we learned how to rehydrate our connective tissue and restore our flexibility. The instructor did an excellent job of demonstrating the use of these simple tools on our bodies using techniques that are easily replicated at home. You could hear the "oohs and aahs" as the aches and pains "melted" away. There was a rush at the end of the class to get the instructor's class schedule and sign-up for more. She did a great job of assessing the needs of this golfing group and teaching techniques that would improve our athletic performance. We had one male attendee who quickly learned to place the roller where his bra strap "would be" if he had one... thank you Bob for being such a great sport and for taking our group picture!
