GOODWILL RESCUE MISSION

Please join Allison Sargent Events in helping the Goodwill Rescue Mission continue their great work and commitment to helping the homeless since 1896. Goodwill Rescue Mission's Dare to  Hope Celebration event on Thursday, March 19 at 3 PM at 79 University Avenue in Newark, N.J.  Please join us as we highlight recent renovations to our facilities, present our newly redesigned Comprehensive Life Transformation Program (Going D.E.A.P.E.R.), and introduce our new Executive Director Hector Vega. A reception will follow with light refreshments and special music provided by the world-renowned Newark Boy's Chorus School and Montclair's GRACE Church Band. Tours of the Mission will also be available.

He Dared to Hope Chef Jeff
Chef Jeff's life journey brought him to the Goodwill Rescue Mission. He joined the long-term recovery program, and as he completed his courses and requirements, he began cooking at the Mission. Today, "Chef Jeff" is the Mission's head cook who supervises the kitchen staff. He says, "What's most important to me right now is continuing to give back by reaching out to people who are struggling."
