This Sunday begins, what the church has called for many years, Holy Week. People threw their garments and palm branches onto the road as Jesus entered Jerusalem. This worship service is designed to pique our focus on the Passion of Christ that we will remember later this week.
Holy Thursday, April 2nd
7:00 PM Communion Service
As Jesus prepares for his betrayal, abandonment, and ultimate torture and execution, He gathers His closest followers for a final meal. The Last Supper is the focus of this moving service that will conclude with the un-decorating of the chancel area and the sanctuary. Special Music, Praise Songs and Hymns will inspire and energize our focus toward Calvary.
Good Friday, April 3rd
7:00 PM Tenebrae Service
Originally "God's Friday" because it was God definitive action on behalf of humanity, morphed into "Good Friday". It is "good" for us. It will be :"good" for you to invite a friend to join you to reflect on the Passion of Jesus. This very Traditional service ends in silence and (near) darkness after inspiring Hymns, Scripture Readings, and Pastor Cutler's message.
Easter Sunday, April 5th
7:00am Traditional 10:00am Contemporary
Nothing is more exciting and energizing to life than worshiping the Risen Savior!
The Traditional Sunrise Service will feature many of the great Easter hymns.
The Contemporary Celebration Service will incorporate upbeat versions of a couple hymns along with powerful praise songs that will move people's hearts.
