This year features the 2014 Maryland Lean Government Conference built into our Mid-Atlantic event! The MWCC's flagship training program, the Lean Facilitator Certification Program, opens its eighth class year in January of 2015.

Over 150 LFCP graduates have learned lean techniques, built their change leadership skills, and today are delivering enormous value for their companies. Participants meet once a month for 3-4 days in an intensive 5-month immersion in front-line lean leadership.  The curriculum is aligned to support the AME/ASQ/SME/Shingo Institute national lean certification standard, and includes a national certification testing option.

  

The Maryland Economic Development Association will host a Manufacturing Showcase of Maryland-made products, vendors and networking opportunities at Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Cumberland, MD.  The event will include information-packed keynotes and roundtable discussions on lean, manufacturing technologies, and ways to grow manufacturing in Maryland.
