Ladies and Gentlemen -

The Gingertown DC 2014 build is almost here! We are very excited to see all of your wonderful creations take shape on Tuesday night. A few event detail reminders:

Where: 1275 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, 4th Floor

When: Tuesday, December 2 - building begins at 5pm with judging commencing around 8:45pm

What (to Bring): Please bring your own cutting mats and knives if possible. Otherwise, just bring your creativity!

We will again be honoring the best structures with awards in seven categories:

Most Innovative Use of Materials
Best Expression of Theme
Best Overall Design Quality
Best Overall Craftsmanship
Judges' Choice
Mayor's Award
People's Choice

Our esteemed judges this year include Bob Mazzuca of The Willco Companies, Chase Rynd of the National Building Museum and Harriet Tregoning of the Department of Housing & Urban Development.
All winners will be announced around 9pm on December 2nd. The People's Choice Award will be announced later, with the winner determined by the number of votes received during the public viewing hours over the weekend. $1 = 1 Vote. As always, 100% of voting funds go directly to the recipient organizations.

Gingertown will be open for public viewing in the main lobby at 1275 Pennsylvania Ave, NW during regular business hours Wednesday - Friday, and Saturday, December 6th from 10am-1pm and Sunday, December 7th from 10am-1pm. Please help us spread the word - be sure to invite friends, family and coworkers to visit over the weekend!
