One Team. One Voice.

I had the pleasure to attend Orlando Bowen's inspirational talk. Orlando used to be a CFL linebacker up until 2004, He had a lot of adversity in his life. Today, he is showing us how to be authentic and create One Voice. One Team.

A life misfortune can be transformed into something extraordinary. A glass half empty can be transformed into a glass half full. The secret is your perception of reality.

What is your perception of building a profitable team?

Avoid costly mistakes when hiring by hiring the RIGHT FIT!

Why Is Team- Building Considered A Utopia

Many entrepreneurs tend to blame others for their own failure. They tend to look for quick fixes that will straighten their teams and help them work better together.

A client of mine asked me for a team building exercise. Thinking a few days with his team working together will fix his problems. Do his dismay; I helped him discover the root cause of his problems. Which were a lack of direction and lack of clearly articulated values.

Changing the behaviours of his team was going to change the symptoms without getting to the root cause of why those behaviours exist in the first place (the illness). By simply attempting to replace a "bad behaviour" with a "good behaviour" , we create a temporary fix for the symptoms, but the illness continues to exist. That can only mean that at some point, symptoms will start to pop up again.
