Wine & Design DC
On a Sunny day in the District of Columbia last Saturday 48 individuals came out to the debut of Wine & Design DC; an art series created by Candice Nicole & Tommie Collins. Wine & Design DC was held at Taste Art Gallery which is a new art gallery/event space in the nation's capital. The series mission is to provide an experience for the individual and to offer something new in the city for the young urban professional who has a creative side they have always wanted to tap into.
The debut of Wine & Design DC was very well received. The art instructor for both sold out sessions that day (5 PM/7 PM) was Courtney Savoy AKA "The Artist". Courtney is a well known art educator and artist in the DC Metropolitan area. The attendees had the task of creating a city skyline of their choice with multiple references provided to them such as NYC, Washington, DC, Atlanta & Chicago sky lines. However, attendees could feel free to paint whatever they wanted and wherever the paint and paint brush guided them. Guests sipped on Birthday Cake Wine flavors "Coffee Cake" (Red Wine) and "Cheesecake" (White Wine) while also enjoying desserts (cookies, brownies, pasties & cinnamon pin wheels).

About Wine & Design DC
Wine & Design DC is an intimate art class series. Each series will feature a local artist from the Washington, DC area. Each class will be very limited in size and will feature a brand of wine, along with light finger foods and desserts. The attendees will be provided a canvas, paint brushes & paint to bring their art to life! The series is also more than happy to accommodate birthday parties, bachelorette parties, team building or a girls/guys night out!
