The Chicago Park District relies on its patrons for input to provide quality programming and amenities that cater to each unique Chicago neighborhood. They are asking taxpayers to take advantage of this opportunity to be a voice in the process and help shape their local parks.

Patrons can visit www.improvechiparks.com, and complete surveys titled "Which of the following park amenities are most important for us to continue funding," and "Which services are most important to continue funding." Results from the surveys will assist the Chicago Park District in its 2015 budget planning process.

Harold Washington Trail for Voter Registration 

The walk for voter registration begins at 1700 E. Hyde Park Blvd and ends at Bethel AME Church, 4440 S Michigan Ave. There are four check-in/entry points during the walk for those who want a shorter distance.
