This photo is a winner of the City of Henderson's annual photo contest.

Our longtime customer  Willert Home Products displays a remarkably beautiful display of Armed Forces flags at Henderson Military Tribute Park.
"This park is a dedication to all members of the Armed Forces, POW's and those MIA."

City of Henderson's Veterans Day Ceremony is Saturday November 8, 10am, at the Henderson Amphitheater, adjacent to the Memorial Wall at City Hall.

The Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade is an annual event and billed as "The largest Veterans Parade west of the Mississippi" is held on Veterans Day, November 11 in downtown Las Vegas.

"An Act (52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a) approved May 13, 1938, made the
11th of November in each year a legal holiday-a day to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as "Armistice Day."

President Eisenhower signing HR7786, changing Armistice Day to Veterans Day, 1954.
