♥ The loss of a Family Member

We are saddened by the loss of one of our Founding Knots of Love Family Members. Virginia (Ginny) Dietrich 74, born on November 27, 1939 in Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away July 22, 2014.

Ginny made over 700 caps for Knots of Love. Ginny was always ready and lovingly helped anyone who needed advice, tips or patterns.

During this difficult time for her family, we hope the thought of how many lives Ginny touched across the country with her beautiful caps, will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. We love you Ginny and you will be missed by all of us and many others.

Shown here, Ginny helped beautify the Garden Grove Civic center with her talent.

Today we will dedicate our shipping day to the loving memory of Ginny.

♥ Rest in peace our beautiful friend. ♥

Mission Statement:

Our mission at Knots of Love is to warm the hearts and heads of those experiencing traumatic hair loss by knitting and crocheting caps with love. These caps are delivered free of charge to patients across the country. We hope for a day when our services will no longer be needed, but until then our recipients continually tell us that our caps not only provide warmth as they go through treatment but also provide them an incredible amount of dignity during the most challenging time of their lives.

A must see!
