Awards...awards....awards.....The Annual Craftsmen's Fair Preview Party (held the Friday night before the start of the Fair) kicked things off, with 35 juried League members receiving kudos for craft excellence.

Annie Frye won Best in Show in CraftWear for her hand-felted jacket 
Dale Roger's "Retro Trees" sculpture won Best in Show in the Sculpture Garden

All of the fine craft on display at the Fair have met the League's rigorous standards for skill, technique, and creativity, so they are all winners! Pick your favorite to win the People's Choice Award. Come to the Fair and cast your vote in the ballot boxes located at each of the exhibitions. The winners will be announced on Saturday, August 9.   

  

See how the masters do it or make your own handcrafted treasure.  There's craft demonstrations and workshops in a variety of media.  And kids can participate in Tools for Kids and special pottery classes geared just for them!

 

 

   

We're open late onThursday, August 7, until 8:00 pm, giving you more time to shop in the 200+ craft booths and The Shop at The Fair. And the admission is $5 if you come after 4 pm.
