"Monitoring Irrigation Water Use at Different Scales"

Christopher Neale, director of research at the Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute, will give a talk on irrigation water use as part of the UNL School of Natural Resources geography seminar series. Dr. Neale will describe two applications - one using satellite imagery over a large irrigated area and one using airborne imagery at high resolution in an urban environment. Learn more.

The University of Nebraska's diverse Water for Food research community is invited to join us for food, drinks and casual conversation. A brief talk will also be given by Christopher Neale, director of research at the Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Nebraska Water Center's retreat Jan. 23 at UNL's East Union. A group of about 40 University of Nebraska faculty and other stakeholders discussed NWC's mission and role, and brainstormed how it can further enhance water-related research, education and outreach at the University.
